# Ownership Calculation Examples

Below please find some example calculations of your cask ownership percentage based on the number of Whiskees NFTs you plan to own. Final prices per NFT and ownership value will vary depending on set mint prices per rarity tier and the number of NFT’s you purchase as part of the mint.

### Owner A

Buys 3 NFT’s during the mint sale.

* 1 NFT = The 1% (2500 ADA spent or $1000 USD, $500 in Cask Value)
* 1 NFT = Maltman (250 ADA spent or $100 USD, $50 in Cask Value)
* 1 NFT = Barrleman (125 ADA spent or $50 USD, $25 in Cask Value)
 * **TOTAL of 3 NFT’s = 2875 ADA or $1150 USD in value at the time of the sale.**

That would mean that 50% of your initial mint sale in USD would be **$575**. This represents **Owner A’s** original whiskey cask ownership value in USD.

Your % cask ownership will be determined by taking the original cask value of your NFT(s) and dividing that by half of the total mint sale. A table will be released for clarity post NFT mint sale to show % ownership per NFT rarity tier for Whiskees NFT owners.

### Owner B

Buys 1 NFT during the mint sale.

* 1 NFT = The 1% (2500 ADA spent or $1000 USD, $500 in Cask Value)
 * **TOTAL of 1 NFT = 2500 ADA or $1000 USD in value at the time of the sale.**

That would mean that 50% of your initial sale in USD would be **$500**. This represents **Owner B’s** original whiskey cask ownership value in USD.

Your % cask ownership will be determined by taking the cask value of your NFT(s) and dividing that by half of the total mint sale. A table will be released for clarity post NFT mint sale to show % ownership per NFT rarity tier for Whiskees NFT owners.

### Owner C

Buys 20 NFT’s during the mint sale.

* 20 NFT’s = Barrleman (2500 ADA spent or $1000 USD, $500 in Cask Value)
 * **TOTAL of 20 NFT’s = 2500 ADA or $1000 USD in value at the time of the sale.**

That would mean that 50% of your initial sale in USD would be **$500**. This represents **Owner C’s** original whiskey cask ownership value in USD.

Your % cask ownership will be determined by taking the cask value of your NFT(s) and dividing that by half of the total mint sale. A table will be released for clarity post NFT mint sale to show % ownership per NFT rarity tier for Whiskees NFT owners.

As you can see in the examples above, **Owner B** & **Owner C** each have the same whiskey cask ownership USD value since it was 50% of their total mint sale amount in NFT(s) ($500) with the examples above.

**Owner B** bought 1 Whiskees NFT to achieve this and **Owner C** bought 20 Whiskees NFTs. The strategy and ownership portion of NFT’s you desire is very customizable and totally up to you!

It’s important to note that even after the first ⅓ batch of whiskey casks are voted to be sold you STILL have an ownership stake % in the remaining ⅔ of the whiskey casks as an NFT owner. HODL on!

### In summary, the more Whiskees NFTs you hold the greater the % cask ownership you have for future cask returns.
